ESINERGY Project Holds 4th Partner Meeting in Bad Hindelang, Germany

The fourth project and steering committee meeting of the ESINERGY Project took place on 17–18 September 2025 in Bad Hindelang, Germany, gathering project partners, stakeholders, and energy transition experts from 12 countries across Europe. The event combined a project meeting, a study visit, and a peer-to-peer exchange event, creating a valuable platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Over two intensive days, participants worked on advancing the project’s key objectives and discussed most important ongoing and future activities:

  • Master Plan for Energy Transition – Partners and stakeholders jointly fine-tuned the Master Plan, focusing on innovative measures and policies for sustainable energy solutions in the participating regions.
  • Pilot Actions and Solutions – Project partners evaluated ongoing pilot activities and discussed about development of new solutions through interactive workshop sessions, fostering deeper cooperation and the transfer of know-how across countries.
  • Policy Forum and Adoption of Master Plan– The partners have discussed on next activity – Policy Forum as a dedicated event to review and adopt the Master Plan, ensuring alignment with regional and national policy priorities which will be organized in all partner countries.

Partners on ESINERGY project reviewed ongoing efforts, theoretical frameworks, and strategies to extend the project’s solutions to non-pilot countries, policymakers, and new energy prosumers. Project’s Steering Committee has discussed key management and coordination issues, alongside planning for the upcoming Project’s fourth and fifth implementation periods.

The second day concluded with a study visit and peer-to-peer exchange, offering participants first-hand insights into successful German energy solutions and opportunities to share experiences directly with local stakeholders.

Beyond the working sessions, the meeting strengthened partnership ties and reaffirmed the joint commitment to accelerating the transition towards a more sustainable and energy-efficient Europe.
