The aim of the partners involved in the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) is to acquaint the general public and the local government decision-makers. Nagykanizsa out of eight development goals focuses on sustainable development, and this topic is related to the events of the project, which aims the children and youn g people. In 2013 four family nursery contest were realized in connection with the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), sustainable development and environmental consciousness.
Planned programs in 2014 and 2015
- The management of activities related to sustainable development and to The Millennium Development Goals in kindergartens of Nagykanizsa for children and parents 2-2 times (April- May 2014 and September- October 2014)
- Organization of a regional conference with the theme of Millennium Development Goals, particularly for sustainable development. (2014 II. semester)
- The Millennium Development Goals, particularly the organization related to sustainable development in a two-round primary school quiz in Nagykanizsa. (2015 I. semester)
- Organization of a high school photo contest and photo exhibition among high school students of Nagykanizsa, related to the Millennium Development Goals, especially on sustainable development. (2015 II. semester)
- The making of four pieces of 90-second short film about aspirations of sustainable development in Nagykanizsa
